Entrance along bridleway adjacent to the wood. This is a small ancient woodland on the edge of the town. Part of the wood now owned by the county council, the rest is private and owned by the Bedford Estate. Home to many woodland flora including bluebells, wild garlic and the locally scarce wild daffodil. Brown long eared, daubentons and Pipistrelle bats have been recorded in the wood.

The pond is situated on the Two Moors Heritage Trail, on the outskirts of Flitwick. It is home to dragonflies, kingfisher and many other invertebrates and is used regularly by locals for fishing and as a meeting point for young people. The Trust is involved in a project with town and county council to tidy the area up, provide a bench and information board. It is a good site for pond dipping – lots of invertebrates.
