The western volunteers meet every Wednesday between 10 am & 3 pm, usually at Stockgrove Country Park, Heath & Reach. The type of work carried out varies, such as; scrub & bracken clearance, tree coppicing, hedge planting, heathland & meadow restoration, river & pond clearance, even bonfire making! In addition to the conservation work, construction tasks like; installing kissing gates, repairing fencing, building dams and footpath way marking are carried out.
The Vole newsletter is produced by Greensand Trust volunteers for their fellow volunteers. If you would like further information about the work of the Greensand Trust throughout the year, download Greensand Highlights from the News archives section on the home page.Still interested?
