Join us for a friendly walk in search of the Purple Emperor, the Silver-Washed Fritillary, the White Admiral and other butterflies with Countryside Ranger Bob Hook in Rammamere Heath and Kings Wood.

Rammamere Heath is a Site of Special Scientific Interest managed by The Greensand Trust on behalf of landowner Lafarge Aggregates, while Kings Wood is the largest ancient woodland in Bedfordshire, a National Nature Reserve and also a Site of Special Scientific Interest.

  • Park at the Stockgrove entrance (£3 parking fee)
