Swifts are birds in trouble, with their breeding numbers plummeting – down 51% in the UK between 1995 and 2015 making them an amber-listed species.

Our Ranger Bob Hook will look at why there are so few parties of swifts nowadays - what might be affecting them and what is happening locally to help find homes for these iconic birds of summer.

Tickets £4 per person (including £2 voucher to be used in the Tree Tops Café).

The talk will be held in the Education Room in the Herons' View Visitor Centre.

All proceeds from these talks are reinvested into the park.
