Join us for the first of this year's series of fundraising talks at the park entitled "It’s a Hole - A big, big Hole: The Extraction Industry and the Bedfordshire Landscape" by Brian Kerr.

Extraction industries have left Bedfordshire with a residue of abandoned mining sites. This talk will discuss extraction industries which have influenced Bedfordshire and the future for these site as nature reserves and leisure facilities.

Tickets £4 per person (including £2 voucher to be used in the Tree Tops Café).

The talk will be held in the Education Room in the Herons' View Visitor Centre at Rushmere Country Park.

All proceeds support the park.
