Of the 50+ species of orchids found in Great Britain, 27 have been recorded in Bedfordshire - some are vanishingly rare, only growing in a few square metres of turf or woodland.

This fundraising talk by Greensand Trust volunteer Graham Bellamy looks at why orchids grow where they do, what are their key habitats and areas of conservation concern.

  • Tickets £4 per person (including £2 to spend in the Tree Tops Cafe)
  • The talk will be held in the Education Room in the Herons' View Visitor Centre
  • All proceeds go towards the environmental conservation work of The Greensand Trust
