Annual Greensand Cycle Pass - Rushmere & Aspley

From 1st April 2021 new pricing comes into operation - we have not increased the price of these passes for the past 5 years. As we operate on a not for profit basis this is to cover our rising costs and we ask for your understanding. The annual passes still offer great savings to regular users or we have the Day Pass option available for each site for those who prefer to pay as they ride.

Whilst the public has free pedal cycle access along public bridleways, some of the areas managed by The Greensand Trust offer additional access for cyclists requiring a valid Cycling Pass for their use.

Access to these additional routes therefore requires a Greensand Bike Pass which can be purchased below - the pass is valid for one year from the date of purchase and is available for an individual or family*.  The Pass protects both the user and landowner against third-party liability and helps to fund the maintenance and the safety checks of these paths. The rules differ for the various schemes due to matters such as insurance so please check the individual terms and conditions carefully. Please note purchase of a Greensand Bike Pass entitles the holder to ride permissive cycling trails at Rushmere Country Park and/or Aspley Woods – it does not guarantee or include access to parking at either site

Alternatively we offer a Day Pass for either site.

A map of Aspley's permissive bike routes can be downloaded here.

A map of Rushmere's permissive bike routes can be downloaded here.

The Longslade Lane car park is located at Aspley Heath, Milton Keynes MK17 9HZ

Rushmere Country Park main entrance is at Linslade Road, Heath and Reach, LU7 0EB

Please Gift Aid your purchase

The Gift Aid option includes a small donation to our charity but, as VAT is not applicable on a Gift Aid purchase, we can claim a further 25p for every £1 you contribute. Otherwise VAT is payable and included in the price of all standard passes, but we receive no additional benefit from the government - as we operate on a not for profit basis your support is essential to our work.

*The Family pass is valid for up to 5 family members (maximum 2 adults, 3 children).

Once purchased you will receive an order confirmation by email - please carry this on site as proof of purchase.

COVID-19 Compensation for Pass Renewals

While cross country trails remain OPEN for local riders to use throughout lockdown, we are offering riders who are unable to use their annual pass due to distance or preference for the jump areas, an extension to their annual pass renewal (for cards expiring after 6 January 2021) to compensate for the enforced closure due to the COVID-19 pandemic of the Jump areas at Rushmere and Aspley Woods.

The number of days from 6 January to your new renewal date, or the total length of the closure, currently unknown, will be added to you renewal. As a charity running the park on a not for profit basis, our funding has been severely affected by the pandemic. If you are happy to support the park by NOT pursuing the extension please proceed directly to purchase. Otherwise, please fill in this FORM to claim your pass extension at the same time as you purchase your pass renewal.

Please note - you need to send in this form together with your Cycle pass renewal when you have completed your renewal purchase. Please do not send in the form on its own or if your card is not due for renewal.
