The Greensand Trust is looking for a professional Sous Chef to add to our growing catering team. Our ethos is fresh, quality and local and you will be working with the catering manager to deliver a quality experience to visitors. 

The ideal sous chef will require high standards and experience in catering. You will need to be a perfectionist with a desire to progress.  Our aim is to provide a high quality catering experience to visitors in a superb location with views across Heron Valley.  The Facility is also essential in raising vital revenue to ensure that the Park is maintained and managed sensitively and for the benefit of both people and wildlife. 

You must thrive in a busy kitchen, be experienced in costing menus, day to day kitchen management, waste sheets, C.O.S.H.H. and ordering.

Excellent communication and team building skills are essential. 

We can offer the successful chef/ cook 40 hours per week on an annualised flexible contract, you must be available to work in a rota covering weekends and bank holidays, have worked in a professional kitchen for at least two years and have relevant qualifications in food hygiene and food safety.

Pay: £18 - 21K per annum dependent on experience.
