Due to increasing visitor numbers at Rushmere Country Park, we're seeking a new part-time member of our Rushmere Ranger team to assist with managing and helping visitors to enjoy the park's facilities.  This will involve managing car parking, permit schemes, ensuring visitors adhere to park policies and by-laws and engaging with visitors to help them get the most from their visit.

The successful post holder will work as part of the Rushmere Ranger and Visitor Services team, mainly supporting the rangers carrying out weekend duties.

An average of 6 hours per day, usually commencing at 11am, mainly weekends. This could rise to 30 hours a week during busy periods. You may negotiate your own flexible work hours and rota, within reason, with your line manager and colleagues as long as these are not to the detriment of your work or the Ranger Service.

A professional outlook is a major requirement of this job, as is the ability to work with visitors and the general public so a mature approach to others is essential.

Pay: £8.21 per hour (over 25) equivalent to £9.20 inclusive of holiday entitlement.

This is a casual contract to Sept 2019 with opportunities to extend.

Final date for application 29th April 2019.
