We are now open daily (9am to 6pm) providing public access in a sensitive and sustainable manner which conserves and enhances these emerging habitats, whilst enabling visitors to share in the benefits this very special environment provides. Head over to our history hut gazebo opposite the riverside cafe to collect your materials, learn what life was like at the castle, and embark on a self-led trail to discover Cainhoe Castle. No need to book, just come down to Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve and follow the signs from the car park. Please note: Parking charges do apply for Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve.
