Hedge Laying Weekend Workshop Tickets now on sale! Join Bedfordshire hedge laying expert Paul Blissett for this 2-day course learning the traditional art of hedge laying in the South of England style, acquiring the techniques used to lay a section of hedgerow at our Sandy Smith Nature Reserve in Clophill. The course will take place on the 7th-8th November. A back-up date of the 14th-15th if the weather is exceptionally poor. This training session is aimed at anyone with an interest in their local environment and conservation. Bring a packed lunch and refreshments All necessary tools and other safety equipment including gloves will be provided by The Greensand Trust. No toilet facilities on site, but toilet and cafe facilities are available at Clophill Lakes Nature Reserve (2 min drive away) Wear suitable clothing and footwear for working outdoors with thorny material Course cost: £200 for the 2-days of tuition Due to the cost of running this event no refunds can be offered, but booking may be transferable to another named person on request.
