Toilets now OPEN 8am - 6pm (by 9am at Stockgrove entrance) with catering available at both entrances.

*Rushmere main entrance may close early on occasions where access exceeds risk assessments.

Greensand Annual Horse Riding Pass - Rushmere

The annual pass offers great savings to regular users or we have the Day Pass option for those who prefer to pay as they ride.

Whilst horse riders have some limited access via suitable rights of way such as bridleways, additional permissive routes are offered to riders who hold a valid Greensand Horse Riding Pass which can be purchased below, valid for one year from the date of purchase for either an individual or a family* group. Alternatively we offer a Day Pass.

The Pass is required to protect the user and landowner against third-party liability and helps to fund the maintenance and the safety checks of these paths. The rules differ for the various schemes due to matters such as insurance so please check the individual terms and conditions carefully. Please note purchase of a Greensand Horse riding Pass entitles the holder to ride permissive horse trails at Rushmere Country Park  – it does not guarantee or include access to horse box parking.

To apply you must hold adequate insurance to cover the horse and rider with public liability indemnity of at least £2,000,000.

The Gift Aid option includes a small donation to our charity but, as VAT is not applicable on a Gift Aid purchase, we can claim a further 25p for every £1 you contribute. Otherwise VAT is payable and included in the price of all standard passes, but we receive no additional benefit from the government - as we operate on a not for profit basis your support is essential to our work.

*The Family pass is valid for up to 5 family members (maximum 2 adults, 3 children).

Once purchased you will receive your pass as an order confirmation by email, we no longer issue physical passes - please carry this on site as proof of purchase.

Please note - we have a limited horse box parking area at the back of the main car park at the Rushmere entrance for the use of horse riders. However, this area is used as overflow parking at peak times and when we hold large events so parking in this area cannot be guaranteed - even if you have purchased a Greensand Horse Pass.
