The day to day operation of the Trust is the responsibility of the Chief Executive and Director of Development, who report to the trustees at regular board meetings and are supported by a management team, who represents each aspect of the Trust's work and objectives.

The Trust is internally structured into teams to ensure we retain a focus on each aspect of our work.  

Development

A Trust-wide team, which develops new projects and opportunities, based on our understanding of the local environment.

Land Management / Ranger      

The Trust owns, leases and manages on behalf of other landowners, land for the provision of informal recreation and the conservation of the landscape, wildlife and the historic environment. Our ranger team delivers this providing expertise in risk management, maintenance and enhancement.

Biodiversity / Heritage

Providing specialist guidance, management input, as well as survey and monitoring delivery in relation to biodiversity and heritage features / projects.

Visitor Services / Community Engagement

Coordinating and delivering the provision of high quality visitor services and community engagement.

Education / Awareness Raising

Inspiring people of all ages to engage with their local natural environment through events and activities  Working with local schools and groups to deliver programmes linked to the national curriculum and offering support and advice to enhance learning.

Café / Catering

The Trust has developed The Tree Tops Café at Rushmere Country Park as a fundraising enterprise.

Finance / Admin

Financial controls, budgeting and reporting, policy, HR, data management and audits.
