Rushmere Country Park About Map Facilities Find us Walks and trails Educational Visits News Events Bookings Support Use of BBQs in the park Use of BBQs at Rushmere Country Park is NOT permitted As a result of rising numbers, health and safety concerns and the damage caused by BBQs, we have made the decision to NOT allow BBQs at Rushmere Country Park. We are an environmental conservation charity which works hard to preserve flora, fauna and wildlife, and an out of control BBQ fire can cause devastation to the countryside - as our meadow is so close to the woodland this poses too high a risk.
