We work along The Greensand Ridge and have access to a range of habitats, different sites and facilities or we may be able to come to you.

Greensand Trust Working Woodlands Centre and Maulden Wood: A6 layby off the A6 near Clophill MK45 3UZ

This easily accessible centre hosts training and education and events encouraging positive management of Bedfordshire’s woodlands. Easy access to the adjacent ancient woodland of Maulden Wood owned and managed by the Forestry Commission. Classroom, toilets, coach parking and Nature Discovery Area. Pond dipping is available during summer months.

Rushmere Country Park, Heath and Reach, north of Leighton Buzzard

Popular Country Park with cafe and visitor centre covering 400 acres of woodland, meadows and heathland. Easy access trails and woodland glades. Pond dipping is available during summer months. Classroom, toilets and coach parking.

Self-led visits to Rushmere Country Park:

We welcome self-led groups and schools to Rushmere Country Park, however, it helps us to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable visit if you let us know of your plans in advance so booking is essential. Please initially contact visitor services at Rushmere Country Park for all enquiries and they will advise you. Car park charges will apply
